Querying by means of attributes
The texts in KorpusDK have been supplied with information about each individual word. This information is utilized in querying. If you have chosen Formal search you can search directly for attribute values. The list below shows the attributes that are used in KorpusDK. The list is also visible in a box next to the search box at the Formal search page.

lemma |
the word in its base form. Use this attribute to search for a word including all inflected forms. |

morph |
morphological information about the word. Use this attribute to search for a particular inflected form of a word. |

ortho |
the word written exactly as it occurs in the texts, i.e. allowing for capital letters and diacritics. Use this attribute to search for exact word forms. |

pos |
use this attribute to search for a particular part of speech. Read more about parts of speech or see the List of parts of speech. Please note that the values used for parts of speech are different from the ones used in Extended search. |

word |
the word as it occurs in the texts, but in a normalized form, i.e. without paying attention to capital letters, diacritics etc. Use this attribute to search for a word in its various realizations. |
All texts have been tagged automatically with information about part of speech, base form etc. for each word. Please be aware that inaccuracies in the tagging may occur. Read more about linguistic pitfalls
Displaying the tags in a concordance
When you are looking at a concordance you can choose to display the values assigned for the attributes. This is done by pressing the button + on the left side of the Settings panel. This unfolds a new line in the panel where you can select the attributes you want to display for the concordance.
Note that ortho is not an option that is offered from the panel. This is because ortho (= the exact form) is the form displayed as standard for the words in the text lines of a concordance.
